The PGP’s objective is to be fully compliant with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulations. This statement documents what data we hold on individual members of the PGP and what we do to protect it.

The PGP holds the following data on its members: name, postal address, email address and telephone number. This data has been provided directly by the member.

The PGP has a legitimate interest in holding the data about its members so that it can send information about the PGP’s activities, eg meetings, events, walks, activities, the Annual General Meeting and newsletters. The communications may be electronic or conventional postal means.

The PGP will ensure that it always keeps members’ personal data rights in high regard and take account of these rights.

The PGP will not pass members’ data on to any other person or organisation.

When an individual ceases to be a member, their details will be removed from current mailing lists immediately.
